Making a Difference in Our Community
At PAA, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting causes that make a positive impact on people’s lives. That is why we are proud to support Samaritan Health Services through our recent donation to the Samaritan Foundation.
Samaritan Health Services is a not-for-profit network of hospitals and healthcare providers serving communities in Oregon’s mid-Willamette Valley and central Oregon coast (samhealth.org). We chose to support this organization because of its unwavering commitment to improving the health and well-being of the communities it serves.
In 2023, joint contributions
- helped the Samaritan Employee Emergency Program, assisting 158 local caregivers in financial crises
- supported the Patient Support Program, providing over $260,000 to help 15,000 community members access healthcare essentials like medical bills and prescriptions
- contributed to Samaritan hospitals and clinics with $3.6 million allocated for new equipment, facility upgrades and programs
By supporting Samaritan Health Services, we are helping to make healthcare services more accessible to those in need and contributing to initiatives that have a positive impact on our community.
